Fondazione Merz intitolata a Mario Merz nasce come centro d’arte contemporanea nel 2005, con l’intento di ospitare mostre, eventi, attività educative e portare avanti la ricerca e l’approfondimento dell’arte. La Fondazione alterna mostre dedicate a Mario e Marisa Merz come momenti di riflessione e studio a dei grandi progetti site-specific di artisti nazionali e internazionali. Organizza inoltre eventi, tra cui le rassegne di arte visiva, musica contemporanea e spettacolo.
